Chapters Health Foundation Raises More than $65K with Sixth Annual Spring Soiree

Fundraising During Virtual Event Surpasses Previous Year’s In-person Total.

The Chapters Health Foundation and the Hospice Women of Philanthropy are pleased to announce another successful year for the Spring Soiree. Two hundred and seven individuals registered for the March 10th event, which attracted nearly 200 total viewers and surpassed fundraising totals for last year’s in-person event by nearly $4,000. The more than $65,000 in proceeds supports programs and services of LifePath Hospice.

Olympic Gold Medalist and Cancer Survivor/Activist Scott Hamilton was the featured Speaker. The presenting sponsor was the law firm of Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney.

“Buchanan was proud to be the presenting sponsor of the Hospice Women of Philanthropy Spring Soiree,” said Dale Webber, shareholder for Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney’s healthcare team. “We are honored to support the courageous patients and families who inspire us every day, as well as the dedicated staff who offer such hope and compassionate care.”

The Hospice Women of Philanthropy is a group of local women who participate in building and strengthening hospice-related programs through joint contributions. The group also provides women with opportunities for education in an effort to foster and develop their capacities for philanthropic leadership.
