Good Shepherd Hospice volunteers are appreciated and cherished for all they do for our patients, families, community and staff. Our dedicated volunteers help others make the most of life.
Good Shepherd Hospice welcomes the opportunity to work with you as a volunteer. A vast array of options exists for you to get involved and give back—from conducting veteran pinning ceremonies to grocery shopping for families to clerical work at our offices to sitting vigil or just giving family members a much-needed break.
Is Being a Good Shepherd Hospice Volunteer for You?
You care about others — it shows in your kind words, your warm touch and in your selfless desire to help individuals in need.
There are as many ways for our volunteers to participate and make a difference as there are talents to draw from. Yet one common thread remains—by giving, you are the one who receives.
If you or someone you know would like to volunteer to help a frail elder or someone dealing with a life-limiting illnesses, we’d like to meet you. Together, we can help make a difference in their lives as they face new and unfamiliar chapters in their life.
