Lights of Love

Lights of Love

The holiday season is a time of tradition, hope and joy, usually celebrated with family and friends. Inevitably, holidays also turn our thoughts to loved ones who are no longer here but whose memory burns brightly in our hearts. To help families and friends cope with the holiday season, Lights of Love was created. It is an opportunity for hospice families and community members to come together to celebrate and remember their loved ones in a special way.

How Your Donation Helps

For every $25 or more donated, a paper ornament is added to the trees at various Good Shepherd Hospice and LifePath Hospice locations. Please click here for more information about Lights of Love for Good Shepherd Hospice and here for Lights of Love for LifePath Hospice.

Hospice has a unique understanding of loss. Good Shepherd Hospice and LifePath Hospice maintain a tradition of remembrance and comfort for the holidays.

During the Lights of Remembrance events at Good Shepherd Hospice and the Light Up a Life events at LifePath Hospice, trees are adorned with beautiful white lights, symbolizing the brightness loved ones brought into our lives. Each light is in remembrance of one who is no longer with us, or in honor of someone special, bringing warmth, comfort and a sense of hope to the givers. Please see the event calendar for more details by clicking here.
