Save the date for Home Runs for Hospice Breakfast, presented by Regions Bank, benefiting the affiliates of Chapters Health System—Good Shepherd Hospice, HPH Hospice and LifePath Hospice. The breakfast features Harvard University Divinity School educated Kerry Egan, a hospice chaplain, who wrote On Living. This inspiring speaker talks to audiences about some of the people she has met in her work—sharing their stories and reflecting on what they may teach us in our own lives.
As a hospice chaplain, Egan discovered she’d been granted an invaluable chance to witness firsthand what she calls the “spiritual work of dying”—the work of finding or making meaning of one’s life and the experiences contained.
“Become who you want to be while you can enjoy it. Don’t put off doing the work of becoming who you want to be. Waiting will not make it easier, and time is short.”—Kerry Egan
Home Runs for Hospice is a unique opportunity to be inspired by amazing stories of the many lives impacted by the hospice mission. This compassionate care is not possible without philanthropic support.
