LifePath Hospice invites you to volunteer at or attend the Annual Tampa Greek Festival! This year’s festival runs Friday, November 10 through Sunday, November 12, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. Since 2007, LifePath Hospice has been named a beneficiary of the event, hosted by St. John The Baptist Greek Orthodox Church.
Attracting more than 8,000 people each year, the festival offers fresh, authentic Mediterranean meals, luscious desserts, a kafenion (coffee bar), live Greek music and performances by Greek dance groups from all over Tampa Bay. Guests can enjoy free tours of the historic church, shop for unique and beautiful Mediterranean goods, the Opa! Party Tent, and watch professional sports games in The Grecian Gardens, a covered retreat outfitted with big screen televisions and outdoor tables. Children can enjoy the Kids Zone, with giant bounce houses, crafts, games, treats and more.
The success of the festival depends on the support of hundreds of volunteers in a wide variety of roles throughout the weekend. Volunteers do not have to be current LifePath Hospice/Life’s Treasures Thrift Store volunteers, so feel free to invite friends, family members and co-workers to volunteer with you. If you are interested in volunteering, visit the Volunteer Sign Up web page today! Please select “Hospice Volunteer” in the field where you indicate your affiliation (below where you indicate your T-shirt size). If you invite friends to join you, they should also select “Hospice Volunteer” when signing up.
If you’re unable to volunteer but would like to attend, please visit the Tampa Greek Festival website for more details.
